Sorry

For the three of you who saw my recent post about Wal-Mart's grocery listings being online (before I took it down), I must apologize. Wal-Mart does indeed have every single bit of information about their grocery items online, right down to food labels and preparation instructions, but try as I might, I cannot find the actual prices! All I can find is "prices may vary from store to store."

Sorry. It appears that I got all excited for nothing.

That's what I was just coming to ask about. Man, that would be helpful!

Dang! Too good to be true... They do have a point, though. Prices really do vary from store to store. Our 2 WM's vary in prices a good bit.

You would think they would have prices since most stores now you can order your groceries online.

I got an iPod Touch for Christmas and downloaded the "shopper" app. It's great, it keeps all the information I would want from a price book and is my shopping list too. It is completely able to be personalised and each week as I do my groceries I go through the docket and add the unit price for each item if I haven't got it. For fruit and veg I put in the prices that I know are my cut off for value eg $2.50/kg for bananas or $1.99 for a lettuce. I know that is less than their regular price but I refuse to pay more than that. It also lets me put on the list that I want 3kg or 4 packets etc which a lot of other similar apps dont. I am loving it! oh I can also choose to have the price info shown on the list or hidden so it's just an itemised list. brilliant.

Hehehehe! You know, I went on there and couldn't find the prices so I thought maybe I was just doing something wrong.

I hate it when that happens. Get all excited for nothing, especially after you tell a bunch of people. No worries. :)
