After that I must do the following:
-Pick up birthday gift for my Dad
-Return stuff at Staples, and have copies made
-Drop off a donation for the food pantry
-Return library books
-Drop off mail at the post office and buy stamps
-Go to Bed Bath & Beyond to buy a Christmas gift before my coupon expires
-Go to Hallmark to search for "Pillow Pets" which both of my children have decided they would like for Christmas (stupid commercial television! I think these are ridiculously overpriced, but the kids can't seem to come up with anything else they want)
-Get groceries (oh yay)
-Return crappy photo prints to Target and complain, and also buy shower curtain liners, nursing pads, Gatorade, and other necessities for DJ's birth.
Those of you who've been with me for a long time will remember that for me, shopping ranks right up there with talking on the phone, so you can imagine my feelings about all of this. I'm not thrilled, especially since DJ still insists on thrusting his tiny little feet as far into my ribcage as they'll go. I've been trying some yoga poses to encourage him to move, but so far, he's unbelievably stubborn. He pushes so hard that my lungs feel like they won't expand completely, and wandering around a million stores while wheezing and puffing on my inhaler isn't really my idea of a good time.
I wanted to mention that I still have 5 Christmas cards left, so if there's anyone who would still like to participate in the exchange, please send me an e-mail with your address.
And now I'm off....wish me luck!

If the shower curtain liners are just for use to protect things during birth, why not pick some up at the $1 store?
Hope your shopping trip goes well and is uneventful.
I just dread shopping too!!! I'm so sorry that you have so many errands to do! If it were not a necessity, I probably would not have a phone either! We are a lot alike :)
Hi Heather - Just FYI, around here (chicagoland area), Bed, Bath and Beyond takes expired coupons. Might want to double check with your store. Kim
Is your Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupon one of the 20% off ones that come in the mail? If so, they don't really expire, despite having an expiration date on them. Just in case you want to save at least one of your trips for another day... :-)
Ahhh!! Those stupid pillow pets!!! Luckily MM wants her room redecorated so her gift is all about that. Although, the one she wants would match her new room.
Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you! I hope that you are getting this wonderful weather that we are having here, as I hear this is going to be our last "warm" day (high is 60 right now, tomorrow's high...34).
I was going to let you know about the Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons...they never check the expiration date and you can use multiple coupons per visit! I just bought a whole bunch of stuff there last week and I used several 20% off coupons plus a $5 off coupon.
Good Luck with the day! Hope it goes fast and pain free.
My heaven's! I haven't had a list like that in months! You must be nesting and trying to get it all done before the baby comes.
Oh I must have missed your post on the exchange - will read down.
Hope your shopping trip goes well! Do you know I thought Bed, Bath & Beyond was just made up for the movie "click!"? So you have educated me that it's actually a real store!! LOL
Hey Heather! Remember the flashlight trick? That is how my sister moved Baby A off of her kidney. :)
Good grief, girl! But you're like me, you like to group your errands and get 'em over with, so you can stay home more.
I wish I'd read this earlier! It would have reminded me to return my library books, lol!
That's a pretty hefty list!
I MAKE lists like that all the time, but never get throught them!
The Bed, Bath, & Beyond stores around her in Columbus, GA and Opelika, AL will accept all expired coupons. But they no longer let us group more than one coupon on a single item. It cure was nice when they did though.
