Thankfully we only had one day of high winds. Today was the 1st day above 0 and sunny to boot, so I finally ventured out to the mailbox and was delighted to find my Christmas card and letter from your beautiful family. I loved the format you used for your Christmas letter and I may borrow it for next year. I still have not even begun my cards yet, but hope to have them finished and out by next Monday.<br /><br />Love the sweet, generous children you are raising. Yeesh!<br /><br />We live half a mile from Target and were in dire need of a shovel (I love that the hubs is a grad student and I work at an elementary school--paid snow days anyone?!). We tried to get the car out of the garage, which we did despite our shovel-less state, but then we couldn&#39;t get up the hill at the end of the driveway, so we had to walk it.<br /><br />I couldn&#39;t breathe with the wind coming at my face, my glasses kept fogging up, and my legs just aren&#39;t long enough for those drifts. But we are getting high winds! My poor husband just put up the icle lights yesterday and they are already flip up on to the roof! I think the area we live in now sees a little more, so that makes me happy. <br /><br />We&#39;re also having those 50 mph wind gusts! Glad I don&#39;t put out any Christmas decorations. It&#39;d be interesting to drive down the street to see those houses that WERE decorated to the hilt and see what&#39;s become of them. <br /><br />The more I read about Bee, the more I want to read.
